More than a toy: why we love Bionicle

Bionicles. Everyone who grew up in the early noughties, this word causes a smile and a pleasant warmth in the chest. Then every boy, and even a girl wanted these combined cyborgs that possess the forces of the elements. But not every parent could buy a child such an expensive toy.
