How do you get Moon Stone in SoulSilver? ›

You can get Moon Stone by winning the Bug Contest (1st Prize). However, it gives you a random evolution stone, so reset if you didn't get particular stone you want. Other Moon Stone can be found in Ruin (could be in deeper ruin that requires HM). In Pokéathlon Dome, these Moon Stone needs 3000 points to get it.

Head right into the building at the bottom and then up to enter a ruin. At the back it will say "LIGHT." Have a pokemon that knows Flash and use it. Inside you'll find a Sitrus Berry, Heal Powder, Energy Root, and a Moonstone.

If you want Moonstones, you'll first need to wait for nighttime, specifically between the hours of six pm and two am. This is the only time that Moonstones will appear. During that time, Moonstones will begin to appear in glowing patches of grass on any island, including Moonstone Island.

Level up your Eevee between 8:00 PM and 4:00 AM.

Alternatively, give your Eevee a Rare Candy to immediately level it up. As long as it's nighttime, your Eevee will evolve into the Dark-type Umbreon. After leveling in the night time(8:00 PM - 4:00 AM), Eevee will evolve into Umbreon.

Just like other evolution stone evolutions, there's no level requirement to evolve your Misdreavus into Mismagius. Once you have obtained a Dusk Stone, navigate to the stone in your bag and use it on your Misdreavus.
